I found this interveiw reall interesting, Bell was surprisingly positive about the future of indigenous art - which I thought I would never come across because of his political activism on Indigenous racial issues.
He mentioned how the only way he can see true reconciliation of Indigenous assimilation and mistreatment is the formation of a community focus country. A country where neighbourhoods are important part of everyday life. If we all were a part of a co-operative citizenship and equal treatment between Indigenous and non-indigenous, I agree with Bell, we would be well on our way to forgiveness of the past.
