James and Diana Ramsay Gallery

I went to see the new James and Diana Ramsay Gallery this afternoon. I loved it.
The set up was well excecuted. What stood out to me about the whole collection was the union of Modern Australian art with Indigenous Art. The fact that James Cant and Margaret Preston's Aboriginal Landscape was strategically placed in between Aboriginal Basket weaving and a traditional wooden artifact shows how far Australia has progressed. We are realising the significance of Aboriginal art and accepting it as a critical part of Australian history.
